O2Jam Lab: Browser Games and a Custom-Song Alternative

2026-11-01 · BeatCombo

O2Jam Lab is a browser game destination built around O2Jam music. If that is the site you are looking for, go to O2Jam Lab. If you are looking more broadly for seven-key rhythm gameplay, BeatCombo offers a separate way to play, with charts generated from audio files you choose.

What is O2Jam Lab?

Its introduction describes a collection of quizzes, puzzles and rhythm games using O2Jam music, playable in the browser. The page directs visitors to social sign-in to start. Its notices also include O2Jam Classic updates, so it should not be understood as only a collection of music quizzes.

For its current modes and releases, use the Lab site's own notices. This guide was checked against its public introduction on November 1, 2026; experiments and modes can change.

When does BeatCombo fit better?

Choose BeatCombo when your starting point is a song on your computer and you want to play it as a rhythm chart. The editor analyses your audio locally and generates Beginner, Easy, Normal and Hard charts. You can play without publishing, or export an osu!mania 7K beatmap set.

  • To start immediately: choose a library chart; no account is needed to play.
  • To practise seven-key timing: use S D F Space J K L, long notes, combo feedback and latency calibration.
  • To play your own music: generate a new chart from a browser-decodable audio file.

BeatCombo is independent of O2Jam Lab and does not share its accounts, rankings or music catalogue. If O2Jam's own music is your priority, visit Lab and check the games it currently offers.
